2017 Domaine Chamfort Vacqueyras - 91-94 Points
September 26, 2019
Leading off the 2017 releases, the 2017 Vacqueyras has a modern hint in its darker fruits, graphite, and charred meat-like aromas and flavors. A blend of 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, and the rest Syrah, this full-bodied 2017 has plenty of mid-palate depth, good acidity, and terrific balance. It’s a seriously good wine from an appellation that’s on the upswing. -J.D. 9/26/2019 *www.JebDunnuck.com*
