The 2015 Vacqueyras shows how successful 2015 was for the tiny appellation of Vacqueyras. A blend of 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre and 15% Syrah brought up in concrete, tronconique tanks and a small part in demi-muids, it offers a forward, opulent personality as well as loads of black raspberry and spice aromatics, full-bodied richness, a deep ruby color and a great finish. It made me want to pour a glass. Drink it anytime over the coming 7-8 years.
